Strawberry Lemon Cooler

• 1 . large clean glass jar
• 1 pint strawberries
• 1 bottle (750ml) good-quality vodka
• 1/2 cup lemonade
• 3 ounces strawberry vodka (see instructions below)
• Club soda
• Strawberries, for garnish

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a jar, combine strawberries and vodka. Store in refrigerator for 24 to 48 hours. be sure to shake the jar a few times daily. The Vodka will slowly change to a pinkish red color.

2. When the vodka has infused to your liking, strain using a cheesecloth or coffee filter until no seeds remain in the vodka.

3. To make the cocktail, combine lemonade and 3 ounces strawberry vodka in a cocktail shakes. Fill the shakes with ice and then shake for about 20 seconds.

4. Evenly pour cocktail into two ice-filled glasses. Fill glasses with club soda and garnish with a strawberry. Store leftover vodka for up to one month in the refrigerator.
