Oven Baked Apples


It doesn't get much easier than oven-baked apples! Once the apples are removed from the oven, top with vanilla ice cream for an extra special touch.

  • 4 tart apples, such as Fuji or Jonagold
  • 1/4 C brown sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Preparation time 10mins
Cooking time 25mins


Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 350*.
Scoop out the core from the top of the apple, leaving a well. Do not cut all the way through.
Stuff each apple with 1 tablespoon brown sugar and 1 tablespoon butter. Place in a shallow baking dish and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 15 minutes, until apples are tender. Serve:)
