  • 4 med. Baking potatoes, scrubbed, not peeled
  • 1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375; melt butter in 10x6 dish. Cut potatoes in half lengthwise; with cut surfaces facing down, slice each potato half lengthwise into 1/4 inch wide strips. Layer remaining potatoes in overlapping rows; sprinkling each layer with cheese, salt and pepper. Bake uncovered until tender and top layer is crisp--40-50 min.
