Ingredients
- Group 1
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cloves or allspice
- Group 2
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 3 cups grated carrots
- Group 3
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 3/4 cup raisins, soaked in boiling water for 10 min.

Preparation
Step 1
Combine 1. ingredients. Stir in 2. ingredients, then 3. ingredients.
Pour into greased pan or pans, bake at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes in
9x13 pan or 60 minutes in two loaf pans.
Check for doneness with toothpick, making sure it comes out clean.
Frosting
1 pkg cream cheese and half bag of powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons of
butter. If too thick add drop of milk.
