Cinnamon Apple Oat Bran Cereal

Ingredients

• 4 c water
• 1 1/3 c uncooked pat bran cereal
• 1 t cinnamon
• 1 t vanilla
• 2 T raisins
• 1/4 c unsweetened applesauce
• 2 c skim milk, if desired
• 2 T brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

In heavy saucepan, bring water top a boil over high heat. Stir in oat bran cereal very slowly to avoid lumping. Stir constantly. Return to boil; reduce heat. Add cinnamon, vanilla, raisins and applesauce. Cook ont to two minutes, or until desired consistency is reached, stirring constantly. Top each with skim milk, if desired, and brown sugar.
