Ingredients
- 2 English cucumbers
- 1 small red onion
- 1.5 tablespoons salt
- 1 Tbsp.+1 tsp. white wine or sherry vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tsp. dried dill or 2 Tbsp.fresh

Preparation
Step 1
Slice cucumber lengthwise, remove the seeds and slice thinly. Thinly slice onion. In a colander, toss cucumber and onion with salt and let sit and drain for 20 minutes. Press liquid out of vegetables and rinse well with cold water.
In a medium bowl combine vinegar and sugar and stir well. Add the cucumber mixture and toss to coat. Stir in the dill.
