Baked Stuffed Apples

Ingredients

  • 6-8 apples
  • 1/2 c softened butter
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1 c rolled oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Step 1

Slice off the top 1/2" of each apples - Reserve. Use corer to remove the hard core and seeds. Nestle the apples tightly together in a baking dish.
With your hands, stir together the butter, sugar, oats and cinnamon, working the mixture until it is combined and crumbly. Evently divide the mixture among the apples, filling their centres and mounding the rest on top. Replace the top slice.
Bake for about 45 minutes, depending on the type of apple. They are done when they soften
