Pineapple Lime Velvet

  • 1 pkg (3-oz) lime flavored jello
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 (3-oz) pkg cream cheese
  • 1 (9-oz) can crushed pineapple with its juice
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped



Step 1

Add boiling water to jello. Stir until dissolved. Add cream cheese and with a beater beat until cream cheese is well blended. (There will be small flecks of cheese) Chill until nearly set but not real firm. Stir up then add crushed pineapple and celery and stir til mixed. Fold in whipped cream and pour into 3 or 4 cup mold that has been rinsed with cold water. Chill until firm. Unmold onto serving plate.
