Ingredients
- Marinade:
- 2 ahi tuna steaks
- canola oil
- mixed greens
- 2/3 cup soy sauce
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 cup mirin (popular japanese sweet cooking wine, often referred to as rice wine).
- Freshly ground black bepper to taste
- 2 large knobs fresh ginger, thinly sliced.
- 2 tsp sugar
- 4 tsp wasabi paste
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro leaves

Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl, mix all the marinade ingredients.Reserve half the marinade and set aside.
Place ahi steaks in the remaining marinade and refrigerate for upto 45 minutes.
Preheat the grill to high and brush with canola oil.
Grill ahi for 2 minutes per side, or until seared.
Slice the ahi into 1/4 inch strips and arrange over mixed greens.
Drizzle the reserved marinade over the ahi and mixed greens or use as a dipping sauce. Serve immediately.
