Ingredients
- 1 lb ground veal
- 3 lbs ground pork
- 1 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 level tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups bread crumbs
- Pastry for pork pies
- 4 cups flour
- 2 Tblsp butter
- 2 lge Tblsp lard
- 2 tsp baking powder
- mix with enough milk to roll
- makes 4 small pies

Preparation
Step 1
Simmer meat mixture in water for 2 hours then add bread crumbs.
Fill pie crust. Brush top of crust with milk or egg white.
Bake @ 400 until crust brown………………cool then freeze
