Mixed-Berry Pie A La Mode

  • 3/4 cup Marion blackberries
  • 3/4 tablespoon blueberries
  • 3/4 cup raspberries
  • 3/4 cup berry gel (purchase or make by whisking 3/4 cup water, 2/3 cup lemon juice, 1 cup sugar, 1 pinch salt)
  • 9-inch pie crust (with top)
  • 1/2 gallon ice cream


Servings 4


Step 1

1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.

2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together berries and gelatin mix. Line pie pan with crust and pour berry mixture into pie shell. Cover with another pie shell and crimp edges.

3. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes. Cover with foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes. Crust should be lightly browned and juices should bubble.

4. Cool on a wire rack. Serve with a scoop of ice cream.
