Ingredients
- 1 / 4 cup Jack Daniel's® Old No. 7 Mustard One
- 4 to 6 pound beef brisket
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup beer
- 3 cloves garlic, smashed
- 1 medium onion, sliced thin
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Place brisket, fat side up, in a large roasting pan or Dutch oven. Sprinkle generously with salt and pepper and add onions and garlic. Whisk together Jack Daniel's Old 7 Mustard and remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over brisket. Cover tightly and bake about 3 ½ to 4 hours, or until meat reaches 190 degrees F. Allow meat to rest in the juices for 20 minutes. Remove cooked brisket and slice. Serve with pan drippings.
