Bisquick Strawberry Shortcake

A little sweet and a lot delicious. This classic shortbread recipe is perfect when the summer strawberries are the sweetest!

Ingredients

• 2 1/3cups2 1/3 cups bisquick mix
• 1/2cup1/2 cup milk
• 3tablespoons3 tablespoons sugar
• 3tablespoons3 tablespoons butter/margarine, melted
• 4cups4 cups strawberries
• 1/2cup1/2 cup sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Melt butter. Mix bisquick with sugar. Add butter and milk.

Put in greased pie pan. Bake 20-25 minutes until brown.

Cool. Cut in half. Dot with melted butter. Add 3/4 of the strawberries. Put on top layer. Dot with remaining melted butter. Add remaining strawberries.
