Ingredients
- 900 grams linguine
- 6 tbsp butter
- 5 tbsp coconut oil
- 9 cloves garlic
- 2 pounds large shrimp (peeled,deveined, tails off)
- 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 3/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/2 cup wine
- 1/2 cup fresh squeezed lemons (2 lemons)
- 1 lemon grated zest
- 1/4 tsp hot red pepper flakes
- Kosher sea salt

Preparation
Step 1
1. Drizzle some oil in a large pot of salted boiling water and let linguine boil while you prepare the shrimp scampi.
2. If using frozen shrimp, thaw in a container of warm water and set aside.
3. In another large pan, melt butter and coconut oil over medium heat.
4. Add garlic, sauté for 1 minute - be careful as garlic burns easily.
5. Add shrimp, wine, some salt and pepper and sauté fresh shrimp until they turn pink or add frozen shrimp that have been thawed.
6. Remove from heat, add parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice and red pepper flakes.
7. Toss to combine.
8. When pasta is done(el Dante), drain and add to pan of shrimp.
9. Serve and enjoy!
