Ingredients

  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 1/2 cups of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 cup of liquid from potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of celery salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cook the potatoes, and onions with the salt until tender.
2. Separate but save the liquid.
3. Melt the butter in a double boiler.
4. Mix with the butter the flour and the liquid from the potatoes.
5. Cook this mixture until thick.
6. Stir in the milk, cooked potatoes and onions, more salt, celery and pepper.
