Ingredients
- Pastry for a 9” pie pan
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup smooth applesauce
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place pie crust into a 9” pie pan.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together all of the remaining ingredients; pour into the pie crust and bake for 45 minutes until the crust is golden and the filling is a bit puffy. (It will deflate upon cooling.)
