Cajun Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients
- 1 package uncooked linguine noodles
- 20-30 peeled, cooked shrimp (large)
- 3 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 medium red pepper, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, sliced thinly
- 1 jar alfredo sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 teaspoons cajun seasoning (or to taste)
- 2 teaspoons onion salt
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup grated asiago cheese

Step 1
1. Cook fettuccine according to package directions. Meanwhile, add oil to the pan and saute the mushrooms, onions, green pepper and garlic until crisp-tender. Add shrimp and cook to just warm.
2. Add alfredo sauce and cream to pan. Stir the cajun seasoning, onion salt, and salt and pepper. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened. Add asiago cheese. Drain linguine and add to pan; toss gently. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until heated through.
