Maple Soy Glazed Salmon or Tuna Steaks

- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon adobo sauce from chipotle chiles
- 4 6 ounce skinless salmon or tuna fillets

Step 1
Whisk syrup, soy sauce, and adobo in pie cish to blend. Add fillets, turn
to coat. Marinate 30 minutes, turning occasionally. Drain marinade into
small saucepan.
Heat heavy nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add fillets and cook until
slightly charred outside and just opaque in center, about 21 minutes per
side.
Meanwhile, boil marinade until reduced to scant 1/4 cup glaze, about 4
minutes.
Place 1 fillet on each plate, drizzle with glaze, and serve.
