Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Butter; softened
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 cup all purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 8 ounce sour cream
  • 1-1/4 cup apples; peeled, chopped
  • 1/2 cup pear; peeled, chopped
  • TOPPING
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1/2 cup pecans; chopped

Preparation

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beat
well. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add to
creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Fold in apples and pears. Pour
into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish.

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut in butter until the
mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in pecans. Sprinkle over batter.

Bake at 350°F for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the
center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
