Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 12oz. carton cool whip
  • 2 21oz. cans cherry pie filling

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl, combine flour, pecans and brown sugar. With a fork, stir in butter until crumbly. Lightly pat into an ungreased 13x9" baking dish. Bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely.
For filling, in a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Carefully spread over crust. Top with pie filling. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
