Cranberry Rum Brie

  • 1 large Brie wheel (from Costco)
  • 1 shot rum
  • 2 T brown sugar
  • 1 c whole cranberry sauce and/or dried cranberries
  • 1/4 t ground nutmet
  • 1/2 c pecans, chopped
  • 1 pkg assorted crackers


Servings 8
Preparation time 10mins
Cooking time 12mins


Step 1

Heat saucepan. Add rum to cook off alcohol. Add brown sugar, cranberries and nugmet. Cook for 1 minute. Peel off top skin of brie (leave sides intact). Spread cranberry topping onto brie. Lay pecans on cranberry topping. Prior to serving, microwave for 2 minutes or until brie has softened. Serve with crackers.
