Ingredients
- 12 c popped corn
- 1&1/2 c peanuts
- 1/4 c butter
- 1&1/4 c brown sugar
- 1/3 c corn syrup
- coarse salt
- vanilla, caramel or maple extract
- 1/4 t baking soda
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Mix together popcorn and nuts in a roaster.
Boil butter, brown sugar and corn syrup for 2 to 4 minutes.
Remove from heat. Add extract.
Add soda & stir(it will foam when you stir)
Pour over popcorn and stir till coated.
Bake at 250 for 45 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes.
Sprinkle coarse salt on and give 1 last stir
