Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 t.vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 1 t baking powder
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 2 t lemon zest
- 2/3 cup buttermilk
- 2 cup fresh blackberries
- 1 8 oz cream cheese
- GLAZE
- 1/2 cup conf sugar
- 1/2 t vanilla
- 1 T milk

Step 1
350*
mix together first 4 ingred.
whisk togeth next 4 ingred. and add alternately to butter mixture with buttermilk..
fold blackberries in gently..
put into 9x5 loaf pan..
cut up cream cheese into little pieces and gently stir into bread
bake 1 hr 15min
add glaze to bread
