Ingredients

  • 4 cups crumbled cornbread
  • 2 cups dry bread crumbs
  • 3 1/2 cups chicken stock
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning or sage
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup chopped onion

Step 1

Mix cornbread with crumbs and add stock. Beat eggs slightly; add milk, salt and pepper. Add to bread mixture. Add chopped celery, poultry seasoning and chopped onion. Bake in a well greased pan (375 degrees) 30 to 40 minutes or use for stuffing bird.
