Ingredients

  • 1 . Slice meat very thin in diagonal slices across the grain. Sprinkle with lemon juice and set aside.
  • 2 . Saute onion in butter, add meat and lemon juice, flour and seasonings. Cook and stir for several minutes. The meat should remain pink.
  • 3 . Stir in sour cream and brandy. Stir in chives.
  • 4 . Serve immediately over rice.
  • 1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak
  • 2 tbls. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 4 tbls. butter
  • 2 tbls. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. dreid basil
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1 tbl. Brandy
  • 3 tbls. chopped fresh chives
