Ingredients
- 1 . Slice meat very thin in diagonal slices across the grain. Sprinkle with lemon juice and set aside.
- 2 . Saute onion in butter, add meat and lemon juice, flour and seasonings. Cook and stir for several minutes. The meat should remain pink.
- 3 . Stir in sour cream and brandy. Stir in chives.
- 4 . Serve immediately over rice.
- 1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak
- 2 tbls. fresh lemon juice
- 1 small onion, grated
- 4 tbls. butter
- 2 tbls. flour
- 1/2 tsp. dreid basil
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- salt and pepper
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1 tbl. Brandy
- 3 tbls. chopped fresh chives
