Sesame Encrusted Tuna Steaks with Grilled Asparagus
Ingredients
- 2 tuna steaks 1-1 1/2 inch thick
- soy sauce
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 bunch of asparagus
- sesame seeds
- fresh ground pepper
- 1 cup mayo
- 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat grill to medium
2. Marinate the tuna covered in soy sauce, allow to marinade for 15-30 minute
3. Grill red peppers to blacken the skin. Remove the red pepper from grill; place it in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap to loosen the skin.
4. Place asparagus on the grill and cook it on med/high until it is tender and slightly blackened.
5. Remove tune from marinade and cover top side only with sesame seeds, sprinkle with black pepper (about 4 turns of a pepper mill per steak)
6. Place steak, sesame seed down, medium/high. Cook 5-7 minutes on each side.
7. peel the red pepper, cut it up and remove seeds. Place in a food processor and chop till almost liquid. Place pepper, mayo and vinegar in pan and warm.
8. serve tuna and asparagus with sauce over it.
