- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 48 oz sauce
- 1 # ground beef (or cooked Italian sausage) cook, crumble and drain

Preparation: Preheat oven to 375°
Spray baking pan (13x9x3" deep) with non-stick cooking spray
Beat eggs in med bowl, stir in ricotta, 2 cups of the mozzarella and the Parmesan.
**in using a 2" deep pan, make 3 layers to avoid possible boiling over.
ASSEMBLY
1. 1 cup sauce- spread on bottom of pan
2. Layer 4 uncooked sheets
a. 1/3 ricotta mixture
b. 1/2 of the browned meat
c. 1 cup mozzarella
d. 1 cup sauce
3. Layer 4 uncooked sheets
a. 1/3 ricotta mixture
b. 1 1/2 cups sauce
4. Layer 4 uncooked sheets
a. Remaining ricotta mixture
b. Remaining browned meat
c. 1 cup sauce
5. Layer 4 uncooked sheets
a. Remaining 1 1/2 cups sauce
b. Remaining 1 cup mozarella cheese
cook and serve: Bake covered with foil until bubbly, 50-60 minutes. Uncover and continue cooking until cheese is melted about 5 minutes.
Let stand 15 mins before cutting.
