Lemon 7-Up Cake

Ingredients
- Cake from Scratch:
- 5 eggs
- 3 c flour
- 3 \4 lb. butter, softened (3\4 lb. is 3 sticks)
- 3 c sugar
- 2 tbsps. lemon juice
- 3 \4 c carbonated lemon-lime beverage
- Box Cake:
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 4 eggs
- 3 \4 c vegetable oil
- 1-4oz box instant lemon pudding
- 3 \4 c carbonated lemon-lime beverage
- Lemon Glaze:
- 1 c powdered sugar
- 2 tbsps. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. milk

Preparation
Step 1
Scratch Directions:
Mix butter & sugar for about 10 minutes
Add in eggs 1 at a time, beating after each is added
Add flour & lemon-lime beverage
Por into greased bundt pan
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hr. to 1 hr. & 15 minutes
Remove from oven and transfer to wire rack to cool, drizzleglaze on top
Box Cake Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Grease bundt Pam
In separate bowl combine all cake ingredients, p!us pudding & carbonated beverage
Pour into greased Bundy pan
Bake for 45-55 minutes
Allow to cool completely before removing from pan
Top with glaze
Lemon Glaze:
Both recipes from scratch & box mix use the same glaze recipe
Mix powdered sugar & lemon juice & milk together & drizzle on cooled cake removed from the pan
