Ingredients
- 2 C all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 t baking powder
- 1 t baking soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 C sugar
- 1/2 C margarine, room temperature
- 1/2 C buttermilk, divided
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 C mashed bananas
- 2 eggs

Preparation
Step 1
Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl and stir well. Add sugar, margarine, 1/4 C buttermilk and bananas. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Add eggs, vanilla, and remaining buttermilk. Beat 1 minute more.
Spread batter evenly in a greased 9x13" pan. Bake at 350 F for 30-40 minutes until cooked. Cool and frost as desired or sprinkle with icing sugar.
