Homemade Raspberry Apple Granola Bars

Frozen raspberries and applesauce give these granola bars terrific flavors. Make them on the weekend and have healthier snack for you and the family for the week. You can wrap them individually in either plastic wrap, or waxed paper, to take with you.

- 1 teaspoon coconut oil, melted
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce, room temperature
- 1/3 cup skim milk
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup frozen unsweetened raspberries, diced

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Prepare an 8" square pan with nonstick spray, or line with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, stir together the oil and applesauce until smooth. Mix in the milk, honey and cinnamon until thoroughly combined.
Stir in the oats until evenly coated with the applesauce mixture. Gently fold in the raspberries.
Press the mixture into the prepared pan. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until lightly browned on top. Cool to room temperature and slice into 9 bars.
