Deep-Dish Apple Pie

  • 6 Tart Apple (Big if you can 8-9 if they're small)
  • 3/4 Cup (packed) Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Flour
  • 1/4 Tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp. Nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 Tsp All Spice and 1/4 Tsp Cinnamon



Step 1

Core and pare apples; cut into slices and place in pastry-lined pan. Add (sprinkle) first five ingredients; dot with butter. Cover with crust: cut vents. *" Brush with additional melted butter; sprinkle with sugar." Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes.
