Creamed Onions

Ingredients
- 2 lbs small onions, peeled
- 1 cups butter
- 4 tsp all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp white pepper (regular if you don't have it)
- 4 cups milk

Step 1
1.) In a sauce pan boil onions in 2 cups of water for 20-25 minutes, then drain the water and set aside. In a large skillet or Dutch oven add butter, flour salt and pepper; stir until smooth. Gradually stir in milk until blended.
2.) Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Reduce heat to medium. Add onions to the pan; heat through.
