Ingredients
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tbls. unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 tbls. honey
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teas. vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- 2/3 teas. baking soda
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup figs, chopped

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350
combine honey, butter, sugars in mixing bowl. Mix on low speed until well blended. Add egg and vanilla mix well.
Stir together flour, baking soda. Add flour and baking soda mixing just long enough to combine. Fold in rolled oats and chopped figs.
Wrap mixture with plastic wrap, roll into a log approximately 12 inches long and refrigerate until firm. Once firm, cut into twelve equal pieces. Reduce heat to 325F. Bake on a parchment lined sheet for approximately 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
