Ingredients

  • 8 pieces of bread, crusts removed & sliced into one-inch cubes
  • 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb. sausage (browned & crumbled)
  • 2 3/4 cups milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Preparation

Step 1

Grease 13x9 casserole dish.

Place bread cubes in dish.

Sprinkle with cheese.

Place sausage on top of cheese.

Beat eggs & milk and pour over sausage.

Cover with foil & refrigerate overnight.

Next Morning
Mix in soup & remaining ½ cup milk.

Spread on top of casserole.

Bake uncovered at 300 for 90 minutes or until the top has puffed up & is a deep golden brown.
