  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 envelops taco seasoning, divided
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 med tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 med green pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 can(2 1/4 oz) sliced ripe olives, drained


Preparation time 25mins


Step 1

in a lg skillet, cook and crumble beef over med heat until no longer pink, 4-6 min; drain. add water and 1 envelop taco seasoning; cook until thickened, cool slightly
beat sour cream, cream cheese and remaining taco seasoning until blended. spread in a 3 qt dish; add ground beef. top with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, pepper and olives.
