Ingredients

  • 3 cups AP flour, or pastry flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tblsp bkg powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 pkg pistachio pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup chopped pistachio
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup grated butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups cream
  • Glaze
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together dry ingredients. Mix in the grated butter. Make a well and add the eggs mixed with the cream. Pat out 11/2 inch thick and cut into desired shape. Bake in a 375* oven for 20-22 minutes.
To make the glaze: put cram and brown sugar into sauce pan. Bring it to boil for 2 minutes. Beat in powdered sugar. Can add salt and vanilla to taste.
