TOMATO MEATBALL SOUP

Ingredients
- Meatballs
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
- 3 grinds of black pepper
- 3 shakes of salt
- 2 tsp gehakt spice
- Soup base
- Strained reserved water from boiling meatballs
- 3 cups garden cocktail
- 1 container beef broth
- 2 medium carrots- peeled and diced
- 2 stalks celery- diced
- 1 onion-diced
- 2 tsp gehakt spice
- 1 pkg dried chicken noodle soup
- handful of broken spaghetti noodles

Preparation
Step 1
Meatballs
combine all ingredients and roll into tiny meatballs.
Boil in 4 cups cold water for 25 minutes.
Remove meatballs and strain liquid
Soup
Put liquid from meatballs in a large stock pot stock pot.
Add garden cocktail, beef broth, carrots, celery, onions and spice.
Bring to a boil, then simmer for 30 minutes.
Add meatballs,chicken noodle soup and broken noodles.
Bring to a boil, then simmer for 15 minutes.
To stretch this recipe,add another container of beef broth and dried chicken noodle soup
