Ingredients

  • 1 c flour
  • 1/3 c lt brown sugar firmly packed
  • 5 tbsp softened butter
  • 1/2 c finely chopped pecans
  • 1 8oz pkg softened cream cheese
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1/2 c Libby's pumpkin
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground allspice
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Combine flour and brown sugar in bowl. Cut in butter to make a crumb mixture ( use two butter knives together and slash) stir in nuts, set aside 3/4 c of mixture for topping, press remaining mixture into bottom of pan. Bake in preheated oven 350 for 15 minutes. Cool slightly combine cream cheese, sugar, pumpkin, eggs, cinnamon, allspice and vanilla in large mixing bowl, blend until smooth. Pour over baked crust sprinkle with reserved topping. Bake for 35 min ( or until knife comes out clean) cool before cutting into bars
