Shrimp and Scallops

  • 3/4 Lb. Fine Noodles
  • 2 Tbs. Butter
  • 2 Tbs. Flour
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/8 tsp. Pepper
  • 1 Tbs. Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 3 Cups Milk
  • 3/4 Lb. Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • 1 1/2 Cups Medium Shrimp, cleaned and deveined
  • 1 1/2 Cups Scallops
  • 2 Cups Soft Bread Crumbs

Step 1

Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse. In a saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until bubbly. Slowly add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, milk and 1/2 of cheese and cook until cheese melts and mixture thickens, stirring constantly. In a greased casserole dish combine noodles, white sauce, raw shrimp, and raw scallops. Top with remaining cheese and soft bread crumbs. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
