Ingredients
- 4 T margarine
- 3/4 c sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 c orange juice
- 3/4 c oil
- 1 1/2 c flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 30 oz can apricot halves in syrup
- Vanilla sugar, for sprinkling

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°.
Cream the margarine and sugar together. Add in the eggs, orange juice, oil, flour, and baking powder. Pour the batter into a low 11 in tart pan.
Drain the apricot halves and pat them dry. Place however many apricot halves you wish to use on top of the batter. Sprinkle vanilla sugar on top of the flan. Bake for 45 min. Serve warm.
NOTE: if you only have a 9 in tart pan, place ¾ of the batter in the pan and use the remaining batter for an individual pie.
