Ingredients

  • 4 large baked potatoes
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 12 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 4 green onions chopped
  • 1 1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 6 cups milk

Step 1

Bake potatoes at 400 F for 1 hour, then cut in 1/2 and scoop out middle.

Sauce: Melt butter, stir in flour, and cook 1 minute. Then add in milk and cook till bubbly and thick. Add potatoes, salt and pepper, 2 tablespoons green onions, 1/2 cup bacon, 1 cup cheese, and cook till heated. Stir in sour cream and add milk if necessary for desired thickness. Put remaining ingredients on top when serving.
