Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 1/2 TB cornstarch
  • 1 TB lemon zest
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice (3 lemons)
  • 3 egg yolks, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 baked 9" pie shell

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, cornstarch, zest, juice, yolks, and milk in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thick. Stir in butter and cool mixture to room temperature. Stir in sour cream and pour into pie shell.
