This Banana Bread recipe is nice and moist because of the added milk and uses a little less sugar, but is still sweet because of the bananas.

Ingredients

  • 1/3

    cup of butter

  • 1/2

    cup of sugar

  • 2

    eggs

  • 1 3/4

    cups of flour (1 cup of white and 3/4 cups of whole wheat)

  • 1

    teaspoon of baking powder

  • 1/2

    teaspoon of baking soda

  • 1

    cup of mashed bananas (3 or 4 bananas)

  • milk (approximately 6 tablespoons of milk or less)

  • Handful or more of cranberries

  • Handful of walnuts

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 1.) combine moist ingredients butter, sugar and eggs in a bowl and stir or beat till mixed 2.) combine all dry ingredients, flour, baking powder, baking soda and stir  3.) combine the moist and dry ingredients and stir together 4.) add the mashed bananas to the combined ingredients and stir 5.) gradually add and stir enough milk to give it a nearly cake batter consistency (2 - 6 tablespoons of milk) 6.) add cranberries and walnuts Bake bake at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes.Testing at 450 minutes to see if cooked by inserting/removing a tooth pick to see if it comes out clean of batter.
