Ingredients

  • 6 oz. medium egg noodles
  • 2 cans tuna, drained
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonaise
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • several dashes hot pepper sauce
  • garlic salt
  • Crushed Ritz crackers

Preparation

Step 1

Cook egg noodles in boiling salted water until al dente; drain. Saute celery, onion and pepper in a tbsp of oil several minutes. Add the soup, milk and heat until hot. Add cheese and stir until melted. Add drained noodles, tuna, mayo to soup mixture. Turn into a greased casserole dish and top with crushed crackers. Dot with butter and bake @400 until hot and bubbley, 30 minutes or so.
