Banana Pudding Poke Cake

Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- Ingredients to make cake (eggs, oil, water)
- 2 3.4oz packages instant banana pudding
- 4 cups milk
- 1 8 oz tub Cool Whip, thawed
- 20 vanilla wafers, crushed

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare cake mix according to package directions for a 9x13 pan. Remove cake from oven and while still hot, poke holes all over the cake.
Prepare pudding. Whisk together instant pudding mix and 4 cups milk. Stir until all lumps are gone. Let pudding sit for about 2 minutes, until it has slightly begun to thicken but isn't fully set. Pour pudding over cake, spreading to edges. Use the back of a spoon to push pudding down into the holes.
Put cake in fridge to set and cool. Once completely cooled, spread on whipped topping. Sprinkle crushed wafers over top of the cake.
