Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cans (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 pkg frozen peas
  • 1 tube ( 7 1/2 hoz) refridgerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 cup (4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In a skillet over medium heat, cook beef, celery, and onion until meat is no longer pink and celery is tender, drain. Stir in flour, salt, oregano, and pepper until blended, add tomato sauce and peas, simmer for 5 minutes. Transfer to a greased 13"x9" baking dish. Seperated biscuits, arrange over the meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake uncovered a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until biscuits are golden and cheese is melted.
