Ingredients

  • 15 cups popped corn
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup butter ( 2 sticks)
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven 200 degrees and place corn on 2 9x13 pans.
2. Mix sugar, butter, syrup and salt in sauce pan. Cook and stir until nice and bubbly around edges, then cook 5 minutes more.
3. Remove from heat and add baking soda, stir until foamy.
4. Pour 1/2 mixture over each pan of popcorn and stir until well coated.
5. Bake for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes.
