Ingredients

  • 4 packages frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons minced parsley
  • 1 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400F.

Cook spinach omitting salt, drain well. Mix together undiluted mushroom soup, sour cream, parsley, onion and Worcestershire sauce. Saute mushrooms in butter. Season with lemon juice, pepper and garlic. Stir into sour cream mixture along with spinach.

Pour into a 2 quart shallow baking dish. Bake for about 20 minutes. Make ahead and refrigerate. If so, bake at 400F for 45 minutes.
