Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp steak sauce
  • 1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cooking oil
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • few dashes bottle hot pepper sauce
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns

Step 1

For sauce, in a small saucepan combine garlic, ketchup, steak sauce, worcestershire sauce, sugar, cooking oil, vinegar, and hot pepper sauce. Bring to boiling, reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, set aside.

In a medium mixing bowl combine ground beef, salt, and pepper; mix well. Shape meat mixture into four 3/4-inch thick patties.

Grill burgers, turning once halfway through cooking time brushing frequently with sauce, until desired doneness.
